Evidence-based analysis for regular people
Reason, logic, and critical thinking — not ideology. We follow the data and explain what it means.
What is SOL
Students of Life. Not a slogan — a standard.
Most media tells you what to think; SOL focuses on how to think. We take politics, culture, conflict, technology, and economics and run them through reason, logic, and evidence. No ideology, no agenda, no assertion dressed up as analysis.
Information is everywhere, understanding is rare — that gap is where bad decisions happen. SOL exists to close it for people who don't have time for academic journals but know when they're being fed a line.

Evidence-based takes on what's in the world right now. We follow the data, cut through the noise, and explain what it means for regular people.
What we cover
Eleven topic areas, each with its own lens. We find important claims and check them against evidence.
Power is real. Policy has consequences. We tell you what actually happened and why it matters — we don't have a team, we have a standard.
War is the most consequential thing humans do. We look at why conflicts start, how they're fought, what they cost, and what actually ends them.
Culture is where ideas live before they become policy. Art, media, and behavior are leading indicators of what a society believes and where it's going.
Technology reshapes power and daily life faster than institutions can track. We cover the digital world by its actual effects — not hype or fear.
